The history of the Cove Pocono Resorts began in 1958 when Morris B. Wilkins and Harold O'Brien purchased a hotel now known as the Cove Haven Resort in Pennsylvania. Their iconic heart shaped tubs were introduced five years later. The second resort, Paradise Streams, was purchased in January of 1971. That was the same year that Life Magazine featured the heart shaped tubs in an article. In 1972, the Garden of Eden Apple suite was introduced, featuring the in-room swimming pools. Four years later, the Pocono Palace Resort was purchased. The Cove Haven resort was the first of the three to have the Champagne Glass Whirlpool introduced by Wilkins in 1984. In 1991, the Champagne Glass Whirlpool was introduced to the Pocono Palace Resort and today they can be found at all three locations.

The Cove Haven Resort is located 35 minutes from Scranton. It is on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack. Some activities at the Cove Haven Resort include indoor and outdoor swimming, billiards, biking, cornhole, and pedal boats. They also have an arcade on the property, a gift shop, and a bar. Their gift shop has deer feed available, but feeding them by hand is not suggested. They also have souvenirs and a variety of clothes in the gift shop. There is a spa on-site with a wide variety of massage packages and add-ons. Some options include a heated bamboo massage, hot chocolate massage, and focused tension relief.

The Cove Haven Resort has four different suites available. The Cove Habour suite features a fireplace and heart-shaped tub. The Juliette suite features the same amenities with a split level layout. The Garden of Apple Eden includes a in-suite pool, heart-shaped hot tub, and fire place. The fourth suite features the Champagne Glass Whirlpool and a larger. heart-shaped pool. The Pocono Palace Resort has a larger variety of rooms, with 5 different kinds of suites available. All three locations have the Garden of Apple Eden suite and Champagne Tower suite featuring the Champagne Glass Whirlpool available.
All of the Cove Pocono Resorts are located here in Pennsylvania. Cove Haven is located in Lakeville. Marshalls Creek is home to Pocono Palace and Mount Pocono is the home of the Paradise Stream Resort.
